What we store

LabelForge stores only the shop-level and catalog data needed to generate and print barcode labels:

• Your shop domain and app settings (barcode prefix, sequence counter, default template, plan).
• Label templates you create (layout, dimensions, calibration offsets).
• A log of barcode values assigned to product variants, and an audit trail of barcode changes.
• Print job history (item counts, label counts, timestamps) for your usage meter.

What we do not store

LabelForge does not access, process, or store any customer personal data — no customer names, addresses, emails, or order information. Barcode assignments are linked only to Shopify product variant IDs.

GDPR data requests

Because we store no customer PII, our customers/data_request andcustomers/redact webhooks acknowledge the request with nothing to export or delete. Ourshop/redact webhook permanently deletes all shop-level data listed above.

Data retention after uninstall

When you uninstall LabelForge, your access token is revoked immediately. Your templates, barcode assignment log, and print history are retained for 48 hours (in case of an accidental uninstall or a reinstall) and then permanently deleted.

Third parties

We do not sell or share your data. Data is processed solely to provide the labeling functionality of the app, on infrastructure we operate. Anything you send through the marketing support form is stored on our own database and used only to respond to you.
